Job summary

LS Cable & System USA is seeking a dependable Facility Maintenance Technician in Tarboro, NC. This full-time role covers routine building maintenance, system troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in facilities maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades, and must follow safety rules and procedures. Includes growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of documented facilities maintenance experience.
Construction-related skills for a wide range of building maintenance projects.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Plan and perform maintenance and repair work on facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, ventilation, and general building infrastructure.
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential equipment failures.
Troubleshoot building systems and minor machinery issues to determine root causes.
Perform general repairs in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and other trades.
Ensure facility systems operate at optimal efficiency and document all work.
