Job Overview

A well-established manufacturing facility is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical infrastructure and ensure all equipment and systems are running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)

Conduct regular facility inspections to identify repair needs or safety hazards

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system issues

Maintain maintenance logs and records of work performed

Manage inventory of tools, materials, and repair supplies

Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations

Assist with facility changes such as moving furniture or setting up equipment

Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred

Proven experience in a maintenance or technician role
