Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining facility and equipment, including HVAC, conveyor systems, sanitation equipment, and material handling equipment, based on their experience and licensing. Battery replacement may also be required.

Responsibilities

1. Emphasize warehouse maintenance experience.
2. Ensure all equipment operates properly and safely.
3. Perform scheduled and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility. Skills in hydraulic systems, plumbing, carpentry, building maintenance, equipment overhaul, fabrication, air conditioning, heating systems, and adjustments are desirable. Stay updated on current technology related to job duties.
4. Inspect doors, dock plates, and other building/support areas. Recognize and repair problems proactively. Troubleshoot and repair independently.
5. Maintain accurate repair records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
6. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
7. Perform all duties with honesty and integrity.

Requirements

• Must provide own hand tools initially; a list will be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements with arms, wrists, and hands. Capable of working overhead and in or under equipment. Good manual dexterity, coordination, and balance are required.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, and diagnostic equipment.
• Work environment may range from 90°F to 0°F.
• Maintain mental alertness to ensure safety and accuracy. Ability to read and understand labels on hazardous materials and equipment.
