Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Covington, LA. The role includes repairing appliances, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and ongoing property upkeep.

Eligible candidates will have HVAC certification and experience with general maintenance, hand and power tools, and diagnostic equipment. This is a full-time on-site position with travel between properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair appliances including washers and garbage disposals.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests.
• Pick up trash and maintain overall property appearance.
• Repair doors, cabinets, flooring and other building components.
• Assist with landscaping, grounds maintenance, and debris removal.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Travel between properties and suppliers as needed.

$25.00/Hour | Apartment Community | Full-Time | Covington, LA

Are you a skilled maintenance professional who can handle a little bit of everything? We're seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to help keep an apartment community running smoothly and looking its best.

Pay: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 8-Hour Shifts | On-Call Rotation Required

What You'll Do:

• Install and repair appliances, including washers and garbage disposals
• Perform painting, wall repairs, and general make-ready work
• Complete plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
• Respond to resident maintenance requests
• Pick up trash and maintain the overall appearance of the property
• Repair doors, cabinets, flooring, and other building components
• Assist with landscaping, grounds maintenance, and debris removal
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
• Travel between properties and suppliers as needed

Requirements:

• HVAC certification required
• Previous HVAC and property maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of general building maintenance and repair
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Dependable with excellent customer service and communication skills
