Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and minor construction across equipment and building systems in the Albany area.

You will work day shift in the Facility Maintenance department, with on-call duties and adherence to safety policies. Experience with power tools, blueprints, and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiar with safety policies and tool use.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
• Repair, clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors.
• Perform building repairs including painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
• Maintain spare parts and documentation.
• Work on on-call coverage and snow removal duties.
• Ensure safety and follow center policies.
• Assist supervision to schedule and complete projects.
• Inspect and test fire alarm systems.
• Change air handler filters.
