Job summary

City of Evans is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of repair, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance tasks for City facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building life safety systems.

Under general supervision, you will support custodial backup, manage routine maintenance, and assist with remodeling projects while adhering to safety policies and EDGE values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or combination of education/experience.
• 2-4 years of building maintenance experience.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and repair building systems and life-safety components.
• Provide backup custodial support as needed and assist with other maintenance.
• Adhere to safety policies and city codes; document work and inspections.
