Job summary

Eglin Federal Credit Union in Fort Walton Beach, FL seeks a Maintenance Custodian II to perform cleaning, maintenance and prep work across all facilities. The role reports to Maintenance Supervisor and starts at $18.00 per hour. Full-time position with varying hours and weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities include moving furniture, grounds upkeep, minor repairs, and assisting in mail room and deliveries. Requires high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• 2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience including operation of lawn maintenance equipment, cleaning equipment and general mechanic tools.
• Must be able to perform electrical and plumbing repairs and know when to engage a licensed contractor.
• Familiar with carpentry, sheet rock and sheet rock finishing.
• High school education or GED.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, breaks down and moves furniture and equipment; performs maintenance, repairs, cleaning projects, sheet rocking and painting per supervisor directions.
• Inspects interior and exterior conditions across all locations; reports maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Performs general groundskeeping; maintains cleanliness of exterior grounds and parking areas; ensures safety and accessibility.
• Assists in mail room and supply tasks and delivers as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
