Job summary

Qualifications

Experience in facility maintenance, landscaping, construction or related field.
Ability to operate trucks and light equipment; lift up to 100 pounds.
Must obtain Florida Limited Lawn and Ornamental certificate within 1 year of hire.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport issued SIDA badge.
Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

Performs facility maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry) on structures and equipment.
Operates light equipment and vehicles; performs routine maintenance on equipment.
Performs repairs and inspections on various systems and equipment.
Cleans and maintains storage areas; reports malfunctions to supervisor.
Repairs and maintains grounds through landscaping, planting, mowing, irrigation, and pest control.
Reads facility drawings and blueprints; inspects areas for safety and security.
