Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System in Champaign, IL is seeking a Maintenance (Facility) Technician to support electrical and mechanical systems, diagnose faults, and perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment.

The role requires hands-on skills with PLCs, wiring, hydraulics and pneumatics, blueprints and schematics, and collaboration with the Maintenance team to minimize downtime. OSHA-10 or higher certification preferred and ability to work with outside contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with electrical installation/maintenance on plant systems and equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics; ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• OSHA 10 or higher certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and modify equipment and control systems in the facility.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to restore production.
• Coordinate with engineers and outside contractors for maintenance and upgrades.
