Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform complex building repairs across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems. The role includes maintaining preventive programs, inspecting facilities, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely work completion.

The candidate will support conference room setups and uphold a cooperative, safety-minded work environment. Must be able to lift 75 lbs and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Previous maintenance or operations experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal customers and external vendors.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems to record and track data.
• Ability to push, pull and lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of repairs throughout the facility including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
• Ensures proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials, and systems.
• Schedules, directs and ensures satisfactory completion of work performed by vendors.
• Records data from main electrical panels on a quarterly basis.
• Inspects equipment and building areas and records inspection data.
• Provides support with conference room set-up for meetings and events.
• Maintains positive interactions with associates at all levels of the organization.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
