Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, and to support preventive maintenance across facilities in a fast-paced environment. You will work with vendors, document inspections, and help keep conference spaces ready for events.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years in relevant trades, with strong communication skills and the ability to lift 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal customers and vendors.
• Proficiency with computer systems to record and track data.
• Ability to push, pull and lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry to maintain buildings and systems.
• Schedule, direct, and ensure completion of work by vendors.
• Record data from main electrical panels quarterly.
• Inspect equipment, air systems, roof areas and sprinkler systems; document findings.
• Support conference room setup for meetings and events.
• Maintain positive interactions with associates and provide outstanding service.
