Job summary

Samuels Seafood Co. is seeking a Facility Supervisor in Philadelphia to oversee maintenance, repair, and infrastructure across our seafood processing and distribution site. This hands-on leadership role directs maintenance staff and coordinates preventative programs to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance personnel in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building maintenance systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, SQF and food safety requirements.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in maintaining maintenance records and reports.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and direct maintenance technicians and facility personnel.
• Prioritize and monitor daily maintenance work orders and projects.
• Oversee maintenance of facilities, equipment, refrigeration, and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC.
• Inspect facilities to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Ensure OSHA, HACCP, SQF and safety policy compliance.
• Maintain maintenance records including inspections and hours.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and projects.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Assist in facility improvement initiatives and capital projects.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
