You will supervise drivers and maintenance staff, optimize routes, and partner with Operations to meet delivery deadlines while ensuring safety and compliance. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning, requiring strong communication, practical maintenance knowledge, and experience in dispatching and DOT regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold storage, warehouse, and outdoors.
• Experience in facilities maintenance and logistics operations.

• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Experience supervising drivers and maintenance staff.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of company buildings, grounds, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and facilities personnel including assigning and monitoring daily maintenance work orders and providing training and performance feedback.
• Maintain records related to facility maintenance including inspections and permits.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Supervisor company drivers including providing training, monitoring performance, attendance and driver safety records.
• Route all trucks, while generating and managing the daily drive schedules.
• Work alongside the Operations Manager to ensure the proper loading of trucks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Utilize and monitor company GPS system.
• Oversee the upkeep, maintenance and overall condition of company fleet including trucks, trailers and other company owned equipment.
• Investigate, document and report any transportation incidents or accidents to the Safety and Security Manager.
• Other duties as assigned

Join Samuels Seafood Co. as our Facilities & Logistics Manager, overseeing facility maintenance, fleet operations, driver supervision, and transportation logistics to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of fresh and frozen products. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for maintaining company facilities and equipment, managing drivers and maintenance staff, optimizing delivery routes and schedules, and supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of company buildings, grounds, equipment, and infrastructure.

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and facilities personnel including assigning and monitoring daily maintenance work orders and providing training and performance feedback
• Maintain records related to facility maintenance including inspections and permits.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations and maintenance best practices.

Logistics Management

• Supervisor company drivers including providing training, monitoring performance, attendance and driver safety records.

Qualifications

• Good communication and computer skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational ability
• Prior dispatching/facilities experience
• Driving experience, a plus (van, sprinter, Class B, Class A)
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• High School Diploma required
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and work in cold storage, warehouse, and outdoor environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
