Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support and perform maintenance on equipment used in our manufacturing of aircraft engine components. You will join a motivated team focused on reliability and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include installing and servicing facility equipment, diagnosing failures, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety standards are met. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a related field.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
  • Able to work under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, services, and maintains facilities equipment.
  • Diagnoses equipment failures and determines repair needs.
  • Performs inspections to assess required maintenance.
  • Uses drawings and specs to support internal repairs.
  • Mentors others and supports training in a team setting.
  • Adheres to safety rules and maintains a clean work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

About the Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic Candidate. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and highly motivated team. The role will be process‑based and will focus on supporting and performing all aspects necessary for the maintenance of the equipment used in the manufacturing of components and the repair and construction within the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Installs, services and maintains the operating condition of all the facilities equipment
  • Determines the reasons for equipment failure
  • Makes routine, periodic or special inspections to determine the necessity of the repair and maintenance of the plant machinery and equipment
  • Uses manufacturer drawings and specifications, installation, layouts, and sketches to facilitate internal repairs of less than major repairs
  • Acts as subject matter expert and shares knowledge willingly with other employees
  • Assists with training other employees and fosters a team environment
  • Follows all applicable safety rules and precautions and maintains a neat and orderly work area
  • Performs other job‑related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Maintenance Mechanic, or related field.
  • 4+ years experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full‑time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in precision manufacturing equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate maintenance shop equipment.
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and skilled in problem‑solving.
Working Conditions:
  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
