Job summary

Management & Training Corporation in Meridian, MS is seeking a skilled maintenance supervisor to oversee facility upkeep, repairs, and preventive maintenance in accordance with ACA standards, MTC policies, and MDOC directives.

You will supervise offenders, coordinate with campus staff, manage work-orders, pest control scheduling, and maintain records; ensure vehicle fleet safety and compliance, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years’ experience in buildings, grounds, and equipment maintenance; three (3) in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises maintenance staff and oversees general maintenance tasks.
• Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure repairs and safety.
• Coordinate with facility staff to determine maintenance needs and schedule services.
• Schedule pest control services and manage records of equipment and systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Oversee outsourced repairs and supervise inmate workers.
