With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome a Facility Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the facility to ensure a safe, efficient, and functional environment. This role involves managing a team of maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. The Facilities Manager will utilize their mechanical knowledge and expertise in facilities management to maintain high standards of safety and compliance within the facility.
Compensation
Salary range: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00+Bonuses, Company Vehicle, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k (available after a year of service)
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the facility, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally
- Oversee industrial maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Planning, directing, overseeing maintenance operations, building systems, grounds, and physical infrastructure
- Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including high voltage systems and equipment and OSHA Standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Provide training and support to maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial facility maintenance
- Proficient in facilities management principles and practices, must have at least 5 years of facility management experience
- The ability to lead others and possess strong communications skills
- Familiarity with CMMS software for effective maintenance management
- Ability to operate an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Knowledgeable in all industry trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written- must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of high voltage systems is a plus
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
Preferred Certifications:
- Facility Management Professional (FMP)
- HVAC Certification
- Electrical License
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or related credential
