Job summary

The Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) seeks a General Labor I for the Greeley location as part of the Air National Guard Civil Engineering branch. Duties include custodial, grounds, and facility maintenance across multiple sites, with occasional travel to Buckley SPB for onboarding. Work hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

or a 4/10 schedule 6:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Requires weather/event essential status, physical capability, and a Colorado driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Weather/event essential position; overtime/weekend work possible
• Must be willing to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and moving
• Must possess a valid and current State of Colorado Driver's License
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate a range of hand tools and equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties: cleaning bathrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, trash removal
• Maintain inventory and restock supplies; assist grounds crew with maintenance
• Conduct facilities inspections and hazardous-material inventory updates
• Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance; operate plow trucks and heavy equipment
• Complete and maintain work orders and timekeeping records; support Kronos processing
