Job summary

The Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) seeks a Transportation Maintenance III to lead the Pavement and Grounds Shop within the Air National Guard Civil Engineering unit. You will supervise eight staff, coordinate with airfield operations, and oversee maintenance, grading, and related services at Colorado facilities.

Required are five years in facility or grounds work, two years supervisory experience, and a valid CDL-B with endorsements.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in facility maintenance, trades work, or grounds and pavement.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience in grounds and pavement environment equivalent to Transportation Maintenance II.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) class B or higher with endorsements; ability to operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the Pavement and Grounds Shop (eight employees) and write yearly performance goals.
• Schedule and monitor work with internal entities and supervise training and licensing of staff.
• Perform duties in road maintenance, patching, snow removal, and related facilities support.
