Job summary

CTI and Associates, Inc. in Richland, WA is seeking a Facility Maintenance Field Work Supervisor to oversee landfill management, operations, inspection, and maintenance under CPCCo for ERDF and IDF, supporting DOE contracts.

You will lead on-site maintenance, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety compliance with OSHA, track schedules and budgets, and prepare daily reports. The ideal candidate has 2+ years supervision in facilities, a relevant degree, and a strong safety/quality mindset.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Facility maintenance or Facility operations supervision.
  • Experience with environmental regulations related to facilities is preferred.
  • DOE/DoD or commercial construction project experience; subcontractor coordination required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Manage on-site facility maintenance and repair activities per plans, safety protocols, and timelines.
  • Coordinate day-to-day subcontractor and site personnel, meeting schedule and budget targets.
  • Conduct pre/post job briefings, planning meetings, and lessons learned.
  • Maintain project schedules, track progress, and address delays or obstacles.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and safety policies; conduct safety briefings and inspections.
  • Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel on goals and expectations.
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting work against specs, designs, and standards.
  • Resolve on-site challenges with the project management team to maintain continuity.
  • Monitor material usage and ensure availability of critical spare parts on-site.
  • Prepare daily site reports detailing labor, materials, progress, and issues.

Job description

CTI and Associates, Inc. (CTI) is a provider of geotechnical and environmental consulting, engineering, remediation and construction services to federal, state, municipal and commercial clients across the United States. We are currently seeking an Facility Maintenance Field Work Supervisor to support landfill management, operations, inspection, and maintenance services under subcontract to the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) for the Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF) and the Integrated Disposal Facility (IDF). CPCCo is a prime contractor to the Department of Energy (DOE) at the Hanford Site near Richland Washington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage on-site facility maintenance and repair activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and timelines.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct pre and post job briefings including planning meetings and lessons learned.
  • Maintain project schedules, tracking progress and addressing any delays or obstacles that arise during operations.
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conduct safety briefings and inspections to minimize on-site risks.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting work to confirm compliance with project specifications, designs, and industry standards.
  • Assist with resolving any on-site challenges or issues, working closely with the project management team to maintain project continuity.
  • Monitoring material usage, ensuring adequate critical facility spare parts/supplies are available on-site to avoid delays.
  • Prepare daily site reports documenting labor, materials, progress, and any issues encountered.
  • Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Education, Experience and Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Facility maintenance or Facility operations supervision or related roles (required).
  • Experience in environmental regulations related to the operations of facilities (preferred).
  • Experience working on DOE, DoD, or commercial construction projects (preferred). Familiarity with managing subcontractors, coordinating site logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards (required).
  • Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements.

The estimated compensation range for this position is $86,900 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
