Amentum is seeking a Facility Maintenance Engineer based in Forest Park, GA to support CONUS and OCONUS operations. The role focuses on preventive maintenance of building systems, HVAC, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, and coordination with vendors.

Qualifications

• Five years engineering and facility maintenance experience including HVAC, power distribution, generator maintenance and plumbing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interface with senior DoW staff to justify technical recommendations and write documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems.
• Monitor building systems and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Plan and oversee acquisition, installation, and upgrading of equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers for maintenance tasks or repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergencies to minimize disruptions.
