Qualifications

Typically requires a two-year technical degree or trade school equivalent.
Must demonstrate knowledge of construction industry mechanic concepts and regulations as well as plumbing and mechanical codes.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance is maybe required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Monitor building systems including HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Replace filters, belts, bearings, sensors, motors, pumps, and other mechanical components.
Inspect facility equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues before failures occur.
Calibrate and maintain HVAC controls and temperature sensors.
