Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Facility Maintenance and HVAC Technician to join our client’s facilities management team in Los Angeles. The role focuses on maintaining electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems and ensuring occupant comfort while supporting building operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of related maintenance experience, is able to lift up to 50 lbs, and can climb ladders. Trade school or college training is desirable.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
• Trade school, union training, military service, or college is desirable
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 feet tall
• Ability to frequently climb,bend,kneel,lift and/or drive

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal building performance and occupant comfort
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, prioritizing issues that impact workplace safety and productivity
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on building systems including lighting, power distribution, heating and cooling equipment, and plumbing fixtures
• Assemble, disassemble, move, and reconfigure furniture, fixtures, and equipment to support space changes, office relocations, and workplace reconfigurations
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors while minimizing disruption to daily operations and communicating proactively with occupants about planned work
