Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a leading Aerospace Manufacturing and Industrial Facilities Services organization in Mobile, AL to hire an HVAC Technician (2nd Shift). The role covers preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial HVAC systems to support critical facilities.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and EPA 608 Type II Certification. The position offers $35-$38/hour with potential conversion to a full-time role and overtime

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial or commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with HVAC equipment, controls, and environmental systems.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, P&IDs, control schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification (Universal Certification preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial and commercial HVAC systems, including DX systems, rooftop units, air handlers, and environmental control equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC mechanical, electrical, control, and automation systems to ensure critical facility reliability.
• Monitor HVAC system performance, record operational data, and make adjustments to maintain required temperature, humidity, and airflow standards.
• Troubleshoot controls, sensors, actuators, and HVAC automation interfaces while supporting building environmental systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, maintain technical documentation, and support inventory and preventative maintenance programs.

Our client, a leading Aerospace Manufacturing and Industrial Facilities Services organization, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Department supporting the Critical Facilities and Industrial Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HVAC Technician (2nd Shift)

Location: Mobile, AL (320 Airbus Way)

Pay Range: Competitive Pay | $35-$38/hour upon conversion to FTE

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial and commercial HVAC systems, including DX systems, rooftop units, air handlers, and environmental control equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC mechanical, electrical, control, and automation systems to ensure critical facility reliability.

• EPA 608 Type II Certification (Universal Certification preferred).
