Job summary

AmeriTex Pipe & Products, LLC is seeking a Facility Maintenance worker in Gunter, TX. This full-time position pays $17.00 per hour and requires a minimum of two years in facility maintenance along with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ideal candidates are familiar with hand and power tools, landscaping equipment, and safety procedures, with a readiness to learn and follow established maintenance protocols.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance minimum of 2 years.
• Familiar with stick shift.
• Experience in construction or manufacturing desired but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate landscaping equipment.
• Familiarity with various hand and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Follows Safety Guideline and procedures set for this role.
• Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or until if he/she has not been trained to operate.
• Reports equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately.
• Patrols yard and gathers debris and places in appropriate bin, i.e. trash or steel.
• Organizes facility both inside buildings as well as outside.
• Works with Parts Coordinator with proper storage of items.
• Paints items around facility.
• Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
• Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
• Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
