Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Housekeeping/Maintenance worker to support daily operations and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will follow supervisor instructions, adhere to schedules, and perform diverse cleaning duties across the facility.

The role requires basic cleaning skills and at least one year of experience in a commercial setting with laundry/housekeeping knowledge. You may be assigned various tasks to keep the center in good order.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties to maintain the center in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition.
• Receives assignments from supervisor and follows cleaning schedule; cleans restrooms, offices, entrances, lounges, halls, and utility areas.
• Performs tasks such as changing light bulbs, cleaning lint from dryers, vents and registers; cleans windows, screens, doors, and fixtures; replenishes soap and towels.
• Dusts, washes and disinfects fixtures; cleans and polishes furnishings; re-arranges furniture for cleaning; ensures outside areas are clean.
• Other duties and tasks may be assigned or changed at any time.
