Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a diligent Environmental Services/housekeeping staff member to perform cleaning duties throughout the facility. You will adhere to established cleaning schedules and PPE and infection control guidelines while maintaining a professional appearance and supporting residents with care and respect.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, completing required documentation, and assisting with additional duties as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic math skills required for daily tasks.
• Previous long term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties as directed by Environmental Services Director according to department policies and procedures.
• Ensure daily and deep cleaning schedules are followed.
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly, report defects.
• Respect residents’ privacy and needs.
• Follow infection control policies and PPE requirements.
• Complete daily documentation.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director.
