Job summary

Sotera Health Company seeks an experienced General Manager in Columbia to lead a sterilization facility, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while driving customer satisfaction and financial performance.

You will oversee cross-functional teams across Operations, Quality, Customer Service, and Maintenance, shaping strategy, improving processes, and delivering operational excellence. A decade of leadership in regulated environments and a track record of P&L ownership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing, healthcare services, or other regulated environments.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience leading multiple functional areas and P&L responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide site leadership and foster a culture of safety, engagement, and operational excellence.
• Lead operations to ensure safe, compliant processing of customer products and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partner with Commercial teams to support growth.
• Maintain accountability for facility financial performance, including operating expenses, labor, and capital expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, NRC, and other regulatory requirements and prepare for audits.
• Strategic planning with executives to align staffing, capacity, and capital investments with growth objectives.
