Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Facility Floater to assist with all duties in the department and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced warehouse setting. This role reports to the Facility Team Lead and requires on-site availability and physical work.

The position involves pallet sorting, cleaning, unloading trailers, cardboard bale handling, and supporting daily tasks as needed. Benefits include weekly pay and advancement opportunities after probation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on-site with varying schedules (Mon–Sat).
• Lift 25 lb alone, 50 lb with team lift.
• Stand and walk for hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets.
• Clean warehouse and office spaces.
• Empty garbage and fill dumpster per vendor criteria.
• Collect and bale cardboard.
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
