Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Facility Floater for Pittsburgh Mills, Tarentum, PA. This full-time hourly role supports multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment, reporting to the Facility Team Lead.

You will clear and sort pallets, clean spaces, unload trailers, and assist with inventory while adhering to safety and company policies. Prioritizes reliability and teamwork in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site with varying weekly hours.
• Able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written directions and policies.

Responsibilities

• Clear, gather, inventory, and sort pallets.
• Clean warehouse and office spaces with basic cleaning tools.
• Empty garbage and manage dumpster per vendor criteria.
• Collect and bale cardboard for disposal or reuse.
• Meet live trailers at the dock and unload swiftly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

FACILITY FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
