Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC seeks an experienced Facility Environmental Manager to lead environmental programs across multiple sites in the US and Canada. You will drive compliance, training, audits, and regulatory reporting to prevent incidents and support carbon-negative initiatives.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of CWA/CAA/RCRA, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with regulators and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Clean Water Act, SPCC, EPCRA, and RCRA requirements.
• 5 years of experience as safety/environmental professional in compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret federal/state regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of waste permitting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate worker training in EPA-regulated areas and mandatory programs.
• Investigate near-miss reports, inspections, and environmental test results.
• Maintain training on HAZWOPER, DOT Hazmat, SPCC, SWPPP, and RCRA.
• Audit external partners and internal field projects for compliance.
• Manage regulatory relations with inspectors and local authorities.
• Support incident reporting, site audits, and regulatory communications.
• Develop strategies to mitigate compliance risks and advise leadership.
• Ensure corporate programs are understood and implemented across facilities.
