Job summary

HLBMA LLC is seeking a Facility Engineer II to lead maintenance and reliability of facility electrical systems within a Savannah manufacturing setting. The role requires independent troubleshooting, project coordination with contractors, and technical ownership of power distribution infrastructure.

The engineer will read schematics, supervise preventive maintenance, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with operations and senior engineers to optimize performance and safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years in industrial facility engineering or electrical maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance projects and improvements for facility electrical systems.
Diagnose electrical issues and coordinate repairs and field activities.
Oversee medium/low voltage power distribution, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, relays.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
Plan installations, testing, commissioning, and validation activities.
Develop preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives to reduce downtime.
