Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer to support the plant's maintenance and project work, driving safe, efficient operations and long-term planning across the organization. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and power distribution, plus RCFA/FMEA, PSM, and the ability to lead teams on site in Decatur, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives and motors, low and medium power distribution, substations, and power distribution equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in RCFA, FMEA, Thermography, and Motor Circuit Analysis.
• Prior experience in Chemical Manufacturing with Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Must be in current position minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Site Electrical Engineer for the Maintenance Department.
• Maintain/update plant electrical single-line diagrams and arc flash labeling.
• Be the AHJ for NFPA 70E compliance.
• Specify PMs / PdMs for plant systems.
• Provide direction to Electricians, Mechanics, and other staff.
• Collaborate with I&E Technicians and Management.
• Participate in Pre-Start-Up-Safety-Reviews and commissioning.
• Suggest improvements based on RCFA findings.
