Job summary

Think Consulting is seeking an EHS Specialist to drive safety and environmental excellence at our Kentucky facility. You will lead daily safety audits, administer OSHA programs, and manage JSA/Risk assessments while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will conduct investigations, coordinate root-cause analysis, and support training and the plant safety committee. This role requires cross-functional leadership across shifts and departments and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field and 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing EHS.
• Experience in wastewater treatment.
• EHS credentials such as CSP/CIH/CHMM/ASP/OHST preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour General Industry certification.
• Experience with OSHA 300 log & workers' comp management.
• Automotive industry/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EPA/OSHA regulations and EHS software.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and hazard controls across stamping, welding, assembly and maintenance.
• Respond to injuries, near misses, and incidents; perform root-cause investigations.
• Deliver new-hire safety orientation and ongoing refresher training.
• Assist with environmental programs including hazardous waste, SWPPP, SPCC, and inventory/SDS management.
• Support ISO 14001 audits and regulatory inspections; maintain EHS documentation.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and union representatives on safety initiatives.
