Job summary

HDR O&M Facilities Design is seeking a Facility Designer I to join our team and work on a range of design tasks. You will contribute to facility programming, site master planning, and development of construction documents while coordinating equipment layouts and site flows.

The role requires proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, knowledge of SketchUp, and strong MS Office skills, with a focus on accuracy and client interaction. Local candidates preferred and full-time employment offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design or related.
• Command of Revit and AutoCAD, and knowledge of SketchUp.
• Command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
• Working knowledge of LOD 300 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Facility programming, report writing, site master planning, developing specifications and construction documents
• Selection, coordination and layout of various aspects of design (vehicle maintenance equipment, site flow, etc.)
• Creating / using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to complete different levels of documents
• Submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review
• Conduct construction field observations
• Other design / engineering tasks as assigned
