Job summary

HDR is seeking a design professional to support facility programming, site master planning, and construction documentation in Bellevue, WA. The role involves using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to prepare various document levels and coordinating design aspects across disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field, with Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp proficiency, plus strong organizational and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design or related field.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Experience with MS Office and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of LOD 300 requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Facility programming, report writing, site master planning, developing specifications and construction documents
  • Selection, coordination and layout of various aspects of design (vehicle maintenance equipment, site flow, etc.)
  • Creating / using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to complete different levels of documents
  • Submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review
  • Conduct construction field observations
  • Some travel to client sites or other HDR offices is required.
  • Other design / engineering tasks as assigned

Responsibilities
  • Facility programming, report writing, site master planning, developing specifications and construction documents

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively interact with and present to client
  • Ability to hand draw conceptual site and building plans
  • Exceptional level of accuracy and detail
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design or related
  • Command of Revit and AutoCAD, and knowledge of SketchUp
  • Command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
  • Working knowledge of LOD 300 requirements
