Job summary

St. Cloud Area Family YMCA is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean and safe facility for members. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, and restrooms, with opportunities to operate floor scrubbers and cleaning equipment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days of hire. A positive and team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication with members, staff and volunteers.
• Day, evening and weekend shifts; flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform light and deep cleaning to maintain a safe, welcoming facility for members.
• Vacuuming, mopping, windows, dusting, sanitizing surfaces and restrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle housekeeping duties as directed.
