Job summary

Riot Platforms seeks a Custodian to join our Rockdale, Texas team and keep a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace. You will perform routine cleaning across assigned areas and support daily operations in a mining/data center environment.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Full-time position with safety training, background checks, and an MVR review. Valid driver’s license required and work onsite.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while working in office and restricted areas.
• Valid driver's license required.
• This position is subject to a background check as a condition of employment.
• Because this role involves driving, candidates selected to move forward will also be asked to complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• All checks are conducted after a conditional offer, with the candidate's separate written authorization, and in compliance with applicable federal and state law.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties throughout assigned facilities, including disposing of trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, stocking and organizing supplies, and maintaining custodial equipment.
• Ensure the proper use, care, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies while promoting workplace safety and environmental best practices.
• Clean windows and sanitize office surfaces on a daily basis.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning and complete seasonal or special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
