Job summary

GTA Data Centers is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to keep our data center environments clean, safe, and audit-ready. You will maintain cleanliness in data halls, battery rooms, electrical rooms, generator rooms, and common areas while following site procedures.

The role emphasizes careful work around sensitive equipment, strict adherence to safety rules, and timely documentation of completed work and any exceptions. Training will be provided; travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Training provided; data center experience not required.
• Ability to safely use cleaning tools and PPE.
• Willingness to travel between locations and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning standards across data halls and rooms.
• Clean floors, aisles, doors, and surfaces per site procedures.
• Remove trash and debris without disturbing equipment.
• Use approved cleaning methods protecting equipment and sensors.
• Follow safety and access-control rules at all times.
• Report spills, leaks, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Coordinate cleaning with relevant departments.
• Maintain cleaning logs and supply records.
• Support audit readiness with organized evidence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
