Job summary

Indian Rivers Behavioral Health in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a Custodian to perform general cleaning of offices, hallways, lobby, group rooms, and restrooms on a full-time basis. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 7:00am–7:00pm, with onsite work.

Responsibilities include trash disposal, stocking supplies, maintaining equipment, and reporting maintenance needs. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Alabama driver's license, with the ability to read and write

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Alabama driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of offices, hallways, lobby, group rooms, entrances and restrooms.
• Collect and dispose of trash with minimal disturbance to staff.
• Shred paperwork to be disposed of as instructed.
• Sweep and mop floors as scheduled and as needed.
• Notify supervisor of needed supplies to be ordered.
• Stock program materials and restock as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
