Job summary

Sioux Falls Ford Pro Elite Commercial is seeking a dedicated Facilities Custodian at our new dealership location in Sioux Falls. The role is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and self-motivation to maintain a clean, customer-oriented facility.

The starting hourly wage is $19.00, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Responsibilities include cleaning, waste management, facility upkeep, event support, and safety reporting to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Related cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for extended shifts, bend, stoop, and lift/push equipment or trash up to 30–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Sanitation: Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors; dusts furniture and equipment; cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Waste Management: Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and recyclables to designated disposal areas.
• Facility Upkeep: Washes windows, walls, glass panels, and trim; polishes metalwork and lighting fixtures.
• Event Support: Sets up and tears down tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, or special events.
• Safety & Reporting: Monitors buildings for maintenance issues and reports major repair needs.
