Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
• Oversee the work of residents or others assigned to perform custodial duties.
• Dust chairs, tables, and other furniture; wash windows, walls and woodwork.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors; dispose of trash.
• Keep bathrooms stocked with towels and toilet tissue; manage inventory of supplies.
• Maintain records of paper and cleaning supplies and reorder as needed.
• Ensure health and safety standards through proper disinfection and safety practices.
• Serve as safety liaison and ensure MSDS books are up to date; provide training for residents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
