Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
• Oversee storage, ordering and distribution of supply inventories.
• Supervise residents or others assigned to custodial duties.
• Dust furniture, wash windows, walls and woodwork.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors; dispose of trash.
• Keep bathrooms stocked with towels and toilet tissue.
• Maintain records of paper and cleaning supplies and re-ordering.
• Know methods and equipment to clean offices, kitchens, living areas.
• Ensure sanitation plan is followed and health standards met.
• Act as front line safety liaison and ensure MSDS books are up to date.
• Provide training and guidance for residents and subordinate employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
