Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to maintain clean, sanitary common areas and assist with a variety of cleaning duties in assigned facilities. You will perform high-dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning and trash removal in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial methods and safe work practices.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work independently.
• Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Ability to maintain clean and orderly facilities.

Responsibilities

• High dusting around rooms, cleaning surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing and spot cleaning surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning and sanitation using germicidal solutions.
• Emptying trash cans and replacing liners.
• Floor cleaning including dusting and vacuuming, with proper technique.
• Caring for outdoor and common areas; maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Clean, sanitize and prep food court and public areas as needed.
• Perform inspections and report issues to supervisor.
