Responsibilities include high-dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and basic grounds maintenance to ensure public areas are neat and welcoming. Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in assigned buildings and facilities to keep them clean, sanitary and orderly.
• Dust high surfaces and sanitize areas below shoulder height.
• Clean bathrooms, empty trash, and replenish supplies as needed.
• Vacuum or dust floors and polish surfaces; assist with floor care as required.
• Perform grounds maintenance tasks and ensure public areas are neat and presentable.
