Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a diligent janitor to maintain clean facilities. Responsibilities include high-dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, trash handling, and floor care across public and food court areas.

The role requires ability to follow instructions, operate cleaning equipment, and work with a team to ensure a sanitary, safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Familiar with cleaning chemicals per MSDS.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Capable of lifting and performing physical tasks.
• Operate cleaning equipment and maintain safety.
• Good communication with team and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height and ledges.
• Sanitizing and spot cleaning of surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning with germicidal solutions and restroom inspections.
• Emptying trash and replacing liners.
• Floor dusting, mopping, vacuuming and edge cleaning under furniture.
• Grounds care and outdoor area cleaning throughout the day.
• Maintain cleanliness of public common areas and food court zones.
• Sanitize floors in back rooms and under fixtures.
• Inspect room for cleanliness and report issues to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or account manager.
