Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitor to perform a variety of cleaning tasks in assigned facilities, keeping areas sanitary, orderly, and welcoming.

Duties include high dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom care, trash removal, floor care, and public spaces maintenance such as the food court and entrances. You will follow safety procedures, report issues to supervision, and maintain a professional, courteous manner while supporting guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces and ledges.
• Sanitizing and spot cleaning of surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning and toilet care with germicidal solution.
• Empty trash cans; replace liners.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming including hard-to-reach areas.
• Outdoor grounds maintenance and litter pickup.
• Maintain clean public areas and food court tables.
• Floor sanitizing with germicidal solution.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and safety.
• Provide courteous customer service and report issues.
