Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to keep assigned buildings clean, sanitary and orderly.

You will perform high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash emptying, floor care, and general upkeep across common areas and food court zones. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and MSDS guidelines, ability to follow instructions, and reliability throughout shifts.

Qualifications

Basic operations of janitorial work.
Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
Basic safe work practices.
The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

Perform high-dusting around rooms using a treated high duster.
Sanitize surfaces with germicidal solutions and spot-clean fingerprints, smudges, and windows.
Clean bathrooms with germicidal solutions following the specified order.
Empty and sanitize trash cans and replace liners as needed.
Dust mop and vacuum floors; reach under furniture and behind doors.
Maintain outdoor grounds by cleaning ash urns, sidewalks, and benches.
Keep public areas tidy: glass, planters, and cobweb removal.
Clean food court tables, empty trash, and wash trays; monitor outside eating areas.
Sanitize floors and perform post-cleaning inspection.
