Job summary

The State of North Carolina - Department of Information Technology is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout offices, meeting spaces, and common areas. The role is designated Statutory Exempt (EHRA) and exempt from the State Human Resources Act. Minimum education/experience can be met by related housekeeping work or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of assigned office areas including workspaces, hallways, lobbies and meeting spaces.
• Empties waste and recycling; replaces liners as needed.
• Replenishes, cleans and sanitizes restrooms; maintains supplies.
• Follows safety, security, infection-control, and workplace procedures.
• Secures work areas and follows building access procedures during occupied or unoccupied hours.
