Job summary

Ferroglobe's Bridgeport, Alabama facility seeks a Facility Buyer to procure goods and services essential for plant operations, maintenance, and improvements. You will lead end-to-end procurement, source equipment and services for CapEx projects, and drive value through cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with SAP/Ariba/Coupa preferred.
• Strong negotiation, planning, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for cost savings through supplier consolidation and negotiations for facility-related goods and services.
• Lead end-to-end procurement for routine facility needs and CapEx projects, including RFP/RFQ prep and contract management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Project Management to source equipment, contractors, and services for plant expansions and upgrades.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions to secure value, quality, and project timelines.
• Monitor, track, and report cost savings and procurement milestones to stakeholders.
