Job summary

SIG Group in Northlake, IL is seeking a Buyer for Facility Services, MRO & CAPEX to manage purchasing for facility, production materials, and CAPEX projects in North America.

Responsibilities include supplier Evaluation, P2P process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive procurement excellence. Requires 3–5 years in procurement, a Bachelor’s degree, and SAP experience. Hybrid work schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years in Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
• Experience with Facility Services, MRO, CAPEX, and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for Facility Services, MRO, CAPEX, and production materials.
• Ensure compliance between business requirements and internal customer requests.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers to secure best commercial and quality terms.
• Conduct procurement activities per SIG policies and procurement guidelines.
• Achieve procurement KPIs set by Leadership and Global Sourcing & Procurement.
• Evaluate supplier performance with internal stakeholders.
• Qualify new suppliers and maintain supplier documentation per Global Policy.
• Drive continuous improvement of Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Use SAP and procurement tools to monitor performance and efficiency.
• Participate in supplier audits to ensure quality and operational standards.
• Support sustainable procurement and environmental compliance initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to GMP requirements and SIG standards.
